"To this end we always pray for you, that our God may make you worthy of his calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by his power, so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ." 2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 ESV
This is a wonderful scripture, painting the perfect picture of wanting a brother or a sister in the Lord to be everything God originally called them to be. I picked this scripture this month, for you. :) So that when you read it, you will know you are loved and personally prayed for by me. As always, may you strive to know the "more" that God has for your everyday life. Please feel free to reach out to me with any prayer request you may have or praise reports. They are always welcome.
“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12 ESV
Steadfast. Do you know the meaning of that word? It means "Firm in belief, determination, firmly fixed in place, and/or not subject to change." Now read that scripture again inserting one of the definition words provided in place of the word steadfast. No matter what we go through in this life, we have to know that God wants to walk this journey with us. Will we allow Him to do that? Through the good, the bad, and the ugly, whatever we go through, make sure God is the center of it all. Keeping Him your focus will impact the outcome of your situation. I want to encourage you this month, to remain steadfast in any situation this life brings you. Allow Him to hold you and walk through this life, together, with you. God bless.
