“I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliver, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.“ Psalm 18:1-3 ESV
When we learn to call upon the Lord, our savior, our strength, and our source of life, THEN and only then, will we truly see Him as our refuge and safe haven. I encourage you this month to seek the Lord with a passion that you may never have tapped into before. We are in trying times. We need to cling to the Lord like never before. Go to the source of all life. God Almighty.
PS, remember that you can email me anytime with prayer requests or praise reports. I will join in with you for either or both of these things. God bless.
In case you missed last month's verse...
“Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the father.“ Philippians 2:9-11 ESV
What a powerful name Jesus has! Think about it: at the very name of Jesus, people are healed, lives are changed, and honor is given. I highly encourage you to cry out to the name of Jesus. Whether it’s a time of need or a time of pure praise and worship. At THAT name, everyone in heaven AND on earth bows to him and confesses His name. That’s a pretty powerful name! God bless.
